Hampshires are bred for their quality meat and are often found at the top in competitive shows across the country. The Hampshire sheep breed is heavy boned with a lean carcass. This is NOT mutton, this is delicious All American Lamb! You will not find this quality in your grocery store, and even be hard pressed to find it in high end restaurants.  This is simply the BEST!

All lambs are started on "mothers milk", loved and cared for very humanely. As they are weaned from their mothers, they are introduced to a highly nutritional feed to help mature their growing ruminant digestive systems. Supplemented with springs finest pastures, and our home-grown lush green alfalfa hay, then finished on our home grown feeds raised on our 5th Generational Family Farm in Hancock County, Ohio since 1837. Our Farm has been showcased in the past multiple times on the Hancock County Farm City Tour, which in the latest tour featured these beautiful animals.

A $50 non refundable down payment to reserve your lamb. Downpayment will be applied to the total due. Remaining balance will be emailed to you after lamb are delivered to butcher.  A PayPal invoice, contact info for butcher and the Lamb ID# will be included. To avoid PayPal fees, Checks are accepted, BUT, CASH IS KING! Discounts offered for cash payments and hand delivered to our farm. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

D & H Meats & Links Country Meats processing is an additional fee paid to them directly upon pick up. Vaccuumed sealed wrap is available at each butcher.

* HOW MUCH MEAT WILL I PUT IN MY FREEZER? *
Whole Lamb - The lambs will weight approximately 120-140 lbs. live weight.

If a lamb weighs 120 live weight, dresses out at 55% = 66lbs after removing the inedible parts. You will take home the "yield" cuts. This may or may not include bones, fat, depending on your cutting instructions. After the yield calculations, you will take home approximately 44-54 lbs of meat. You will need about 3-3.5 cu feet of freezer storage space. Half lambs are half of the meat.

Lambs will be delivered to butcher and is included in the price. We use D & H Meats & Links Country Meats

Buyer is responsible for calling with cutting instructions & pick up of meat directly from butcher.

No butchering is done on the farm. Please dont ask!
