Our Standards: Our pork products
are inspected by the Ohio Department of Agriculture, vacuum
packaged, frozen and ready for your freezer. We sell only what we
raise. Our hogs are processed, wrapped, frozen
and brought back to the farm where the meat may be purchased at our store.
We have
eliminated the middle man, with the exception of our processor, Links Country Meats
located in Crestline, Ohio. Link's keep cleanliness and consistency
as top priority with full assurance that every customer will get
back what he or she brings in. In other words,........ our meat is really
from our pigs! The reason this is so important is because we strive
to raise our pigs using no antibiotics or growth stimulants of any
kind. This provides a healthier, fresher product for
your family. As a continuation of this effort, our sausage products contain
no additives or preservatives just spices and
flavorings. Our loins and ribs contain no enhancement of any kind.
In conclusion, our product is 100% meat, with no fillers or water,
which means there is less shrinkage once it is on the grill!
Our Packages:
What are the packages
like? How large or how much is in a package?
We
have tried to establish a package size that accommodates the
majority of our customers.
Chops - one inch thick,
four to a package, weight will vary some. Vacuum sealed
Ribs - baby backs and spare
ribs come one half slab per package. Each half is cut in half again
to make a more compact package for your freezer. Vacuum sealed
Sausage patties and bratwurst patties
- packaged ten per package each patty is approx. 1/5 pound, approx.
two pounds per package. Each patty has two pieces of wax paper
between for easy separation when frozen. Plastic bags can be
re-closed. Unused sausage may be returned to freezer with out
thawing the whole package.
Boneless rib patty - come
eight per package, approximately three per pound, each package is
slightly over two pounds. Packaging provides for easy separation
and can be re-closed.
Bacon & Canadian Bacon are
packaged in one pound packages. Vacuum sealed
Ham - sold by whole or half
boneless ham. Also available in ham steaks or thin sliced.
Ham
Steaks are packaged two - three per package, while the slices are
between one and two pounds per package. Vacuum sealed

before placing an order. Shipping frozen meat will be
available on web & phone orders. S&H will be calculated
