perceived pain!

GOOD HUMOR
'Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the
world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say, 'Good morning,
Lord,' and there are those who wake up in the morning and say, 'Good
Lord, it's morning.'
BEST POEM IN THE WORLD
I was
shocked, confused, bewildered, As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the
beauty of it all, Nor the lights or its decor..
But it was
the folks in Heaven, Who made me sputter and gasp--
The
thieves, the liars, the sinners,, The alcoholics and the trash.
There
stood the kid from seventh grade, Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to
him was my old neighbor, Who never said anything nice.
Herb, who
I always thought, Was rotting away in hell,
Was
sitting pretty on cloud nine, Looking incredibly well.
I nudged
Jesus, 'What's the deal? I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all
these sinners get up here? God must've made a mistake.
'And why's
everyone so quiet, So somber - give me a clue.'
'Hush,
child,' He said, 'they're all in shock.
No one
thought they'd be seeing you.'
JUDGE NOT.
Remember...Just going to church doesn't make you a
Christian
any more than standing in your garage makes you a mechanic.
Every
saint has a PAST...
Every
sinner has a FUTURE
TO PONDER OVER
'To get something you
never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something
from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to
receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God
will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'
If God had
a refrigerator, your picture would be on
it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in
it. He sends you flowers every spring. He sends you a sunrise
every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!
God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun
without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears,
and light for the
way.
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
A POEM ABOUT OUR GIRLFRIENDS
Someone will always be prettier.
Someone will always be smarter.
Some of their houses will be bigger.
Some will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school. And
their husband will fix more things around the house.
So let it go, and love you and your
circumstances. Think about it! The prettiest woman in the world can have hell
in her heart.
And the most highly favored woman on your job
may be unable to have children.
And the richest woman you know, she's got the
car, the house, the
clothes~~~~
might be lonely.
And the word says, 'If I have not Love, I am
nothing.' So, again, love you. Love who you are. Look in the mirror in the
morning and smile and say, 'I am too Blessed to be Stressed and too
Anointed, to be Disappointed!' 'Winners make things happen~ ~ Losers let
things happen.'
Be 'Blessed' Ladies~~~~~ and pass this on to
encourage another woman. 'To the world you might be one person, but to the
one person you just sent this to, it could mean so much.'
THE BRICK
A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street,
going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out
from between parked
cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no
children appeared.
Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes
and backed the Jag back to
the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of
the
car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting,
"What
was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's
a new car and that
brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?' The
young boy was apologetic.
"Please,
mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do," He pleaded. "I
threw the
brick because no one else would stop."
With tears
dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just
around a parked car.
'It's
my brother," he said, "he rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair
and I can't lift him up."
Now
sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get
him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'
Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in
his throat He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair,
then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts.
A quick look told him everything
was going to be okay.
"Thank
you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger.
Too shook
up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound
brother down the sidewalk
toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage
was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side
door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message:
Don't go
through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your
attention! God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts.. Sometimes
when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our
choice to listen or not.
