We welcome farm visits, and will be happy to give a tour of our farm. 

Flock History:

Barnes Hampshire Sheep originated in 1968 as a family 4-H project.  What started out as a flock of 2 bred ewes and 2 ewe lambs is currently 20 Hampshire brood ewes. 

Located in Belle Center, Ohio, Carolyn, along with her sons Jim (Barney) and Mike continue to raise, show and sell top quality Hampshire sheep based on the strong foundation that the their Dad, the late Jim Barnes built the flock around.

The brood ewe base is rich in bloodlines primarily from top sheep breeders such as Charles Kirlin & Family, PA & CB Bobendrier flock, Lytle Hampshires.
