"Joe Pa" was purchased privately from Dave Lytle the spring of 2007. We are excited have his pedigree influencing our flock. 

He is a "Kirlin" breed fall stud ram we purchased in Spring of 2009.  He bred most of our ewes for the 2010 lambing season.  We are excited to see his lambs.  His pedigree is the Taylor Made, and the Power Built line.

Flock History:

Barnes Hampshire Sheep originated in 1968 as a family 4-H project.  What started out as a flock of 2 bred ewes and 2 ewe lambs is currently 20 Hampshire brood ewes. 

Located in Belle Center, Ohio, Jim & Carolyn, along with their sons Jim (Barney) and Mike continue to raise, show and sell top quality Hampshire sheep around the country. 

The brood ewe base is rich in bloodlines primarily from top sheep breeders such as Charles Kirlin & Family and PA & CB Bobendrier flock.
